Castech 3D is a South Australian privately owned company situated in Wingfield that supplies efficient and quality 3D printing at a competitive price. Castech 3D provides a range of services including, but not limited to, prototyping, part manufacturing, and modelling. Castech 3D embraces the latest cutting edge technology of additive manufacturing and uses South Australia’s first and only Stratasys Fortus 450MC printer. The Fortus 450MC printer has the capability to print patterns, coreboxes, and prototypes for product visualisation and creation. Our technology enables us to provide excellent performance, speed, and accuracy in additive manufacturing.
Castech 3D has advanced its capabilities in the foundry industry and beyond. As a result of this advancement, Castech 3D can provide useful additions throughout a variety of industries utilising additive manufacturing technology. We aim to work with you to meet your needs, whilst also keeping up to date with the latest technology through our attendance at seminars and conferences, as well as liaising with industry peers. Additionally, we streamline manufacturing whilst maximising possibilities. We have the ability to handle large prototypes and accurate low volume parts with agility and we will implement innovative techniques to serve you better.
Castech uses the latest foundry technology and by staff attendance, at industry expos, seminars and conferences we ensure that we keep up to date with the latest advances in the industry. We are constantly looking for ways to improve our products and efficiencies and as active members of the Australian Foundry Institute keep up with the advancing technologies and improvements as they happen. This means that when you deal with Castech, your castings will be competitively priced, accurately made and of the highest quality.
Traditionally the design of castings has been more of an art than a science, so some foundries waste a lot of time, money, and materials making prototypes that are ultimately unsuitable. Castech, by using computerised casting solidification simulation technology to design your components, gets your casting right the first time, and just as important keeps it repeatable. This modern simulation method gives you improved quality, less scrap, and shorter lead times which ultimately leads to reduced costs.
Castech operates with a Quality Management System (Certificate no. FS 604700) that covers every aspect of the business and production and is certified to comply with Australian Quality System Standard AS/NZS ISO 9001:2008.
Our team operates in an environment of continuous improvement, using a process model that focuses on customer requirements and satisfaction. In other words, you come first and everything we do is aimed at meeting or exceeding your expectations. We aim to supply all your products in conformity with agreed specified requirements and we will use the appropriate standards where required.
All Castech employees have a duty to understand and implement our quality management procedures and processes, and to accept responsibility for their own quality performance. If you wish to discover more about our casting abilities follow the link to the Castech homepage
